    Adrian Area Newspaper Clippings

    Victoria Crayne says:

I purchased two books of clippings collected by Mrs. Florence Mitchell who lived in Adrian, Michigan and then moved to Toledo, Ohio. After her move to Ohio she continued to get the Adrian local paper and cut and pasted articles from both Michigan and Ohio into scrap books, 1937 thru the beginning of 1941. I have almost finished indexing the articles, by every name (maiden and married), in both books. They include birth marriage death, crimes, local happenings, stand and national events.

Second, I have the scrapbooks of Eliza Carter of Massillon, Ohio (approximately the same time) in which she pasted articles and announcements for friends and family in Ohio.

I am trying to list these items everywhere possible and will gladly copy any articles which contain information on anyone's family name. All I ask is a stamped envelope to sent it in after I confirm that I have something.
